The upcoming Labor Day holiday signifies that the end of summer is on the way
This long weekend is a time for many people to get together with family and friends
for picnics, barbecues and games, and to reminisce
about the fun times they had over the past summer months
I hope this holiday finds you happy and content
and grateful to be enjoying some happy times!
Do you have special plans for Labor Day?
Today I am wearing bold stripes in a fun and festive dress
in bright pink, green, blue and white that would be perfect for the upcoming holiday
I am restyling this white cropped denim jacket that I layered over a skirt and top
in my post titled "Show Your Stripes" back in June,
and also in July in a post titled "For the Birds"
The jacket has turned out to be very versatile
and has become a summer favorite!
I have worn this little 60's vintage white leather pouch cross body bag
frequently over the past few summers and have featured it several times on the blog
It's great for when I want to travel light, and just need to carry a few things
Simple, minimal jewelry with two lightweight silver tone bracelets
and bright pink stone stud earrings
Short, ivory western boots to finish this holiday look
I had to include a red, white and blue outfit,
in celebration of the patriotic holiday!
Wearing a red boat neck top with an all over navy and white rope design
Paired with mid wash, flare leg cargo denim jeans
This ring handle bag can be carried as a tote or folded over and used as a clutch
It is by Guess, and I have had it for several years
I never tire of it's cheerful bright red color and unusual, versatile design
I tied a red and white geometric print scarf to the handle
for an extra pop of holiday color!

White lace sneakers to finish the look
Lovely fresh fruit for a holiday picnic from the farmer's market-
it will be sorely missed when the season ends

Hi Di, I have not yet thought of Labor Day! I do remember commenting that we didn't go back to school until after Labor Day, which is so different. Love the outfits and the 2nd patterned top speaks to me. Love those cute lace sneakers.
We'll probably do a cook out, i'll see if I can get my hubby to smoke some salmon.
